Workshops
At IES Test Prep, all SAT courses and Bridge programs include free workshops in SAT Math, Reading and Grammar. In a Workshop, students will practice with a full section of SAT questions proctored by an IES teacher, who will then offer answer explanations. The content of the workshop changes from one week to the next, so that no student will ever see the same material twice.
Bridge Programs
Bridge Programs are designed to “bridge” the time gap between the end of a course and the official SAT test. Bridges are offered as weekly packages: for instance, a student may choose a 7-week bridge. In this case he will receive up to 7 additional practice tests, 7 private one-to-one lessons with an SAT teacher at a pre-agreed upon time, and 7 weeks of additional workshops. Bridge programs are essential for “fine tuning” the student’s technique because it allows the teacher to see precisely where help is needed in a personalized setting. We have noticed improvement rates are 25% to 50% higher with the Bridges than with courses alone

New SAT
IES Test Prep (formerly IES2400) is the only tutoring center that has teacher-developed and student-trialed materials for the New SAT. New material development at IES Publications began shortly after the 2015 release of four Official College Board sample tests (available online and in the new "Blue Book"). Our writers studied these tests meticulously and set to work replicating the type, variety, and difficulty of these New SAT questions. More than 25 IES writers, teachers, editors, and graphics designers were involved in this materials update. Every practice test, exercise, lesson, and homework assignment was tested out on our existing students in New York and New Jersey. As a result of this monumental publishing effort, IES is ready and equipped to deliver the highest quality instruction for the New SAT.
